Sadie grew up playing team sports, and gives her coaches credit for showing her the meaning of perseverance and grit. She’s been a runner for over 20 years and loves learning how to train smarter and stronger, both mentally and physically. 

Having mostly run for fitness until 2009, Sadie decided to challenge herself to train for endurance events, which changed the way she incorporated training into her life. She learned to dig deeper than she thought possible, experience the thrill of successful races, as well as the upset of races gone bad. She loves the process inside and out. She
has since competed in half marathons, marathons, sprint and olympic triathlons and Florida Ironman 2013. 

Sadie’s passion for the sport and supporting local athletes led her to pursue coaching and she acquired certifications with RRCA and USATF Level 1. After moving to Charleston SC, Sadie worked with a team of coaches at Blue Sky Endurance, preparing athletes for running and triathlon events. 

As a coach, Sadie believes the pursuit of your goals is in the details. She works with runners from a variety of levels, but especially enjoys coaching new runners as they set new challenges and goals in their life. She looks forward to guiding you through the training principles of the Run Formula, and having a great time along the way.
